Support FAQ's

The contract offer that Summit IT Limited is offering to provide is, on a one month rolling contract:-

Server & System Monitoring on a 24 x7 monitoring basis at the rate of £30 pcm

  • This would include basic administration, creation of new users & creation of email addresses
  • And up to 1 hour remote support pcm on minor issues
  • This can be extended to include a daily check of PC’s at £1 per PC pcm

Remote Support of Desktops & Server on a “As Needed” basis at a discounted rate of £20 per hour

On-site Support of Desktops & Server on a “As Needed” basis at a discounted rate of £50 per hour / £250 per day

Advice on purchasing & upgrading hardware, software & services included FOC

Implementation of above upgrades would be provided at the rate of £50 per hour / £250 per day

Notes

All services will be provided on a best response basis, Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00. Subject to not being engaged on another contract. Clients will be notified of holiday shutdowns.

Break/Fix Ad Hoc Rates

Onsite Support

£100 for the first hour

£150 per Half Day

£300 per day

Remote Support

£30 First hour (or part thereof) of an incident

£25 Subsequent hour(s) (or part thereof)

Will you be tied into an annual contract?

No -  we ask 1 month's notice if you want to change the Contract

What will this fee cover?

These fees cover "call out fees" and "labour costs"

It does not cover the costs of any parts or replacement machines.
There may be costs entailed with any loan equipment used in getting/keeping you going
